I hear this all the time from people past their mid-40s. Those in their 50s will affirm. Those nearing 60 just say "forget about it!"

A relationship at that age is purely for convenience and transactional.

An older man who chooses a woman his age or older looks for someone to perform household duties so that he has more time to enjoy his recreational hobbies, and for when he is experiencing issues due to deteriorating health.

An older, childless man who chooses a younger woman is basically racing against time. It's his last chance at leaving a legacy. This pertains to the men who actually want a child. For the ones who don't, it is purely for lust and an ego-booster.

The good news is that the women who agree to this arrangement also understand that it's about convenience and transaction for them, too.

...they are not devoted enough to support Catholics in living their life as a Catholic.

If you really understood Christianity, then you would understand that there is a lot more to it than attending Sunday church, participating in church potlucks, giving to charity, and refrain from sex and swearing. There is an entire lifestyle that includes ceremonial and rituals to keep one visibly engaged with the invisible. This can be very confusing and difficult to keep up if you're not a cradle Catholic and aren't accustomed to performing these gestures. Many cradle Catholics don't practice these gestures because they don't know about them or it's too hard to keep faithful to a routine.

I find that strange because if your morning routine was to shower, wash face, brush teeth, etc. then it would just become a habit.

The real question is would it be offensive if one only performed these Catholic gestures out of habit rather than intentional? The answer is that it should be both.

I'm disappointed that the church quit encouraging Catholics to practice their belief faithfully, and they don't even try to implement protocols that support people. Or maybe it's the church where I formerly attended. Honestly, they fail at acclimating new converts. They're more interested in boasting about the diversity, but nobody is actually acting and practicing Catholicism. lol!

...and are too weak to cut them loose yourself.

God hears conversations that you don't have access to. He sees the actions of people who wait to be their real self in your blind spot.

He wants you to remember that whatever and whoever He has set aside to be with you will find their way back to you. There is no fight too big, or no injury too hurtful, that your person would just walk away. The person that God has set aside to be with you will always bear abundance that glorify Him.

It is true. If you love them then honor their wish and let them go when they say good-bye. You did not walk away. They did. If they cannot love and respect you when you were your best, then they surely will not stay when you are at your worst. Let them go.

General Discussion / Do people really believe this???
« on: April 10, 2026, 11:03:15 AM »
Liberals are claiming that ICE is basically breaking down doors to deport anyone who is not white. When the first deportations happened, the Hmong Minnesotans were the loudest in making these claims on social media. Talk about fearmongering. Nobody at Mall of America looked fearful about being stopped by ICE. Nobody hid in their homes. They were out and about, waiting in long lines to eat hand-pulled Chinese noodles, getting their bobas, snacking on those creative cotton candy, trying flavored Japanese cream puffs, and jumping on rides. In fact, the blizzard of the century didn't even stop these people from trekking out to TJMaxx and HomeGoods.  ::) Even when the news told people to stay inside if they didn't have to go out. People still went out!

Renee Good and Alex Pretti died for nothing. The white liberals claim that they're just being the voice for under-represented groups. lol Well, those "marginalized" groups were sure having fun while Good and Pretty were getting shot and killed for nothing. They were martyrs for no one, no cause.

Some Hmong libs tried to fearmonger Hmong communities in other states but one guy jumped in and said, "dag ua luaj li os. Kuv twb nyob kiag lub zos ntawm no es twb tsis muaj npaum li nej hais."

God did not expect or suggest that Lot feel sorry for the Sodomites. In fact, God never even suggested that Lot try to warn them of their impending doom. They were wicked people who God was going to exterminate with fire and brimstone. God's only concern was to get Lot out of Sodom. In fact, it was Lot who pleaded with God not to burn down Sodom.

And let us remember what happened to Lot's wife when she looked back. The woman turned into a pillar of salt.

In addition, God also did not expect Noah to feel sorry for all the people and creatures who were going to die in the flood. God did not instruct Noah to even find people to join him on the ark. Noah was a preacher so it can be safe to assume that he warned people to repent. But they made their choice already.

It is not the role of prophets, preachers, pastors, priests or believers to force people to convert. They can only spread the word and invite people to listen. But it is the free will of the people to open themselves to accepting the Holy Spirit who does the conversion.

Democrats promote an evil and wicked message. They disguise it under the banner of love and inclusion.  ::)

When Moses confronted Pharaoh about letting the Israelites go, pharaoh's heart was hardened and therefore resulting in severe oppression for the Israelites who were still in Egypt, as well as all Egyptians. And they suffered 10 plagues for every time that pharaoh refused to a peaceful agreement with Moses, who was doing God's work. Finally, the last oppression was the death of all firstborn. This greatly angered pharaoh when his own son died, and thus clouded his judgment. He sent in his entire army after the Israelites into the Red Sea, where his men perished when the sea closed up.

So you see how pharaoh was set up by God?

Iran's refusal to a cease-fire will be the death of the Islamic Regime once and for all. That is pretty much the goal here.

How foolish are RINOs and liberals, and other countries to question America's strength as long as we have the will of God? "Those who bless Israel, will be blessed."

AMERICA NEVER EVER SUFFERS TO THE SAME DEGREE AS OTHER COUNTRIES. EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS. And that is why EVERYBODY wants to come to America. Even those Islamic Iranian leaders' families are in America.  ::)

Even when America had to pull out of Vietnam, and trust me that a lot of American soldiers died and suffered, but their loss was nothing compared to what Southeast Asians experienced before, during, and in the aftermath. When you really think about it, America really didn't lose the Vietnam War. And blessed are southeast Asians who got a free ticket to America! Those who were left behind cry about it to this very day! Didn't they win? Why aren't they rejoicing?

Every liberal, Muslim, communist, etc. thinks they're angry, BUT THEY HAVE NOT MET AND FELT THE POWER OF A JUSTIFIABLY ANGRY AND FED UP CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE.

...I said what I said.

I know that the PH lefties want to know where I stand on this issue. Especially whenever I post on PH under other discussion forums. If I'm here, at some point one of them has to know how I feel about Trump's decisions. I feel more than fine. He's doing what I elected him to do. I elected him to clean up the Democrat's mess and bring back common sense to their nonsense. I elected him to do what the cowardly countries in NATO won't do. I elected him to finally push back against the rising Muslim agenda.

If you think that Muslims don't wish the world to be ALL Muslims, in which you're not going to be ranked the same as them even if you do convert, then you're ignorant or willfully stupid. Can't help you there.

I am Pro-Israel ALWAYS AND FOREVER.

My family and a black guy with his son were the only people standing in the "How to Train Your Dragon" rollercoaster line who spoke in English.
 ;D

We were surrounded by people who spoke Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, among other languages. lol!

I slipped in a few Hmong sentences. lol!!!

...not because of a perfect marriage but because they overcame challenges and obstacles.

I find this to be very true.

I know of couples who stayed together through affairs, addictions, and even couples who came back to reconcile after separation and divorce. This shows the love they have for the life they built together and for their children and the descendants to come.

I have never seen anyone admire divorced people who remarried to someone whom they're never going to have children and build a family with. The public just doesn't find these second-chance relationships where no children are born from the relationship as inspiring or a cause for celebration.

It appears that such relationships are only to benefit the two people in it. For example, if an older divorcee remarries, that relationship really is just so she can have a companion, and not become a burden to her grown children. Her new man isn't exactly going to be daddy to her children. That relationship belongs only to her. And since they don't have children together due to their inability to produce children, what legacy are they really leaving? She has no real value to his clan so if he dies first, welps, that's it for her. Who from his clan is going to keep tabs on her when there is no child to be the link? She is only in their thoughts if she has some relation to them. Perhaps her new man was connected to her maternal clan in some way. If her new man is an introvert who isn't involved with his clan, it's likely that his own clan won't even know much about her.

But married couples who reconcile are viewed as strong and everyone rejoices.

A man whose extra-marital affairs became public scandal threw a retirement party for his wife. The guests showered them with compliments about the longevity of their marriage and hoped their own marriages would outlast the struggles of marital life.

A man abandoned his wife and young children, and married another woman. After 55 years of living separate lives, he found his way back to the first wife and proposed to remarry her. His grown children were overjoyed, and the community rejoiced at their renewed vows.

People like to see families stay in tact. They like to see parents, and grandparents stay together so that children have elders who are their blood.

General Discussion / This is the guy that the Left called a hater...
« on: September 18, 2025, 12:42:32 AM »
The link is just one of many episodes that was produced on Turning Point USA with Charlie Kirk. Kirk is facilitating a peaceful debate between pro-Israel and those who are questioning US's loyalty to Israel. Kirk was always encouraging civil debate and keeping things peaceful.

I already know the trolls and haters on PH aren't going to watch it because it would force them to look at how wrong they are.

The Left loves to use buzzwords and their supporters gleefully go along without having any clue about what's really going on.

For example, Charlie Kirk was often accused of spewing hate speech.

It's not hate speech just because you disagree with his views and positions on hot button topics.

The biggest problem about the Left is that they want absolutely NO guardrails or pause on their lunacy. If a Leftist Liberal fell to his death because he chose to jump off a building, the Left would demonize and sue gravity if they could. lol! Because according to the Left, gravity shouldn't even exist. But since it does, it shouldn't be doing it's job as gravity.

...wrong

Presentism is the act of interpreting or evaluating past events, figures, or eras through the lens of present-day values, knowledge, and concerns, which can lead to misinterpretat ions or anachronistic judgments.

Many Leftists claim that if they had lived during WW2, they would've fought against Hitler. But that's just their "presentism" speaking since having learned decades later that Hitler was actually the bad guy. If anything, they would've sided with Hitler against the Jews just as they are spewing anti-semitic views today in the present. The Left is very pro-Hamas. Therefore, who is to say that they wouldn't have been pro-Nazi had they been living during that time?

The recent political assassination of Charlie Kirk leaves me completely heartbroken. I am disgusted with the vile creatures on the Left, who are celebrating his assassination and even justifying it. They, along with those who remain nonchalant, don't get it through their thick heads that this assassination is equivalent if not greater than the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. It's the first political assassination of an influential voice that contributed to the election of a president since the likes of MLK, Jr.

Charlie Kirk played a vital role in captivating the hearts and minds of young men, whose been abandoned and demonized by a socialist feminist movement with LGBTQ and Trans agenda. This movement has infiltrated American institutions and poisoned the country's youths. In the 2024 election, the Democrats lost big time to Trump, who swept all swing states and won the popular vote. Election results showed that the Democratic Party's lost was largely due to their inability to secure young male voters. In the following months, the Democratic Party would conspire and strategize how to rebrand themselves in order to appeal to this voting block.

Is it any surprise that they would celebrate Charlie Kirk's untimely death? We are not shocked that they have accountability in his murder. They've been demonizing him in liberal legacy media, knowing full well that it's enough to aid and abet the crazies on their side to do the dirty deed.

If it had been 97% of black females voting for Trump, the Democrats would be cheering for Amanda Seale's death.

Faith & Beliefs / It's actually not un-Christian to call an entire city evil
« on: September 10, 2025, 06:44:39 PM »
Liberals claim that it is un-Christian to label an entire city, such as: San Francisco, Oakland, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc. sinful. However, they are very wrong. These cities are filled with evil and they should appreciate any person who cares enough to point out their sins so that they might change their ways. Maybe such person is their Jonah. Remember that God called upon Jonah to go into Ninevah.

Some cities are evil and riddled with sin. Two such cities were called Sodom and Gomorah. If you're a decent person then you should move out, lest you perish with the evildoers - just like Lot's wife, who was turned into a pillar of salt for looking back.

Faith & Beliefs / Prayers

Sometimes we don't pray to Jesus to change the hearts of others, but we pray to Jesus to restrain us from destroying them.

Marriage & Family Life / Homeschooling
« on: September 09, 2025, 11:12:17 AM »
If parents saw how students in K4-6th grade were being taught in schools, they would realize that teaching their own child these subjects is not all that difficult and in fact, it would be to the advantage of the child to be homeschooled.

Most parents shy away from home schooling because they're afraid that the child isn't going to learn what they should be. Those fears are easily quelled by requesting the curriculum and standards from the district. Every school district should have this available. Once the parent has this in hand, they can design the lessons to meet the standards.
