The Single & Dating Scenes / Man vs woman in communication
« on: September 15, 2017, 10:01:27 AM »
I have read that men and women communicate differently.  I didn't know how much different until I start dating.

Almost all of the conflicts are due to communication.  The woman tries to read your intention in everything you do or say.  She tries to explain everyone's behavior based on the tone of their voice, what other things are going on, and so on.  Some women see things in back and white.  If she thinks X is true, and you suggest a different way to see that X is not true, they think you don't care about them or that you don't support them.  Then it goes into a different argument on how you don't care about them, not about X.

I think it makes sense to date women who are computer programmer.  Computer needs very precise instructions or it's not going to work.  Once a woman learn that talking to a man is almost like writing a computer program, then communication issues would go away.

Instead of coming over quickly, say "Drive 80 mile per hour and reach here in 3 hours"

Debate Central / The Republican experiment
« on: March 07, 2017, 11:16:48 AM »
Alabama is a state that is entirely control by republicans.  Even all local governments are controlled by republicans.  One would think Alabama would be one of the greatest states with so many jobs.  The Democrat party in Alabama is dead.

But it seems Alabama is last.  It's 47th in term of poor.

So, should we adopt apply this experiment to the entire control?

All the blue states are richer and have far more jobs.

That's the problem when you only work a few hours a day.  Everyone else work 8-12 hours a day.

Work Avenue / I want to work 1 hour a day but paid 8 hours a day
« on: February 09, 2017, 11:33:54 AM »
My dream job is one that I work one hour a day but paid 8 hours a day.  I want to live a nice comfortable life working less than 200 hours a year.  It must be $60k or up so I can afford to travel and buy toys too.  Life is too short and I don't want to use it working.

Money & Investment / Apartment complex
« on: January 16, 2017, 02:13:00 PM »
I have saved enough for down payment toward buying 8-16 unit apartment complex.

I have zero experience managing properties.  I can't even fix my own sink.

But I feel like I should get into investing in apartments and I hire management company to run it.

Anyone here wants to share their experience?  How much work is it?  How risky is it?

The risk is that I do not understand enough about properties, location, and their values to make good judgment.

I don't want negative cash flow.  And I don't want a  lot of work.

Debate Central / Public education
« on: January 14, 2017, 07:10:12 PM »
I do not have children.  Why do I have to pay tax to support the education of others' children?

But I know if if only I would work 8 hours a day, 52 weeks a year, I could save more money, buy apartment complexes, and retire early oversea.  How many of you feel entitled?  I know some will not work because they feel the job is below them even though they have no income.  I see that in a lot of young people.  They rather stay in the basement playing video game than working because the work available to them is not what they want to do.  The parents pay the price.

Debate Central / Health insurance is more expensive than housing cost
« on: January 09, 2017, 11:31:34 AM »
I just checked my insurance premium through work.

I am single.  I paid $88 and my employer paid $734 a month.  My premium total is $822  a month.  This is more than my mortgage and property tax which totals to $750.

Basically, it is equal to my mortgage + property tax + water + electric.

How did wet here?

Soon, it would exceed my mortgage + property tax + water + electric + car payment.  We are bleeding in cash and there's no insurance to cure that.
