my folks were shaman
one time, i got really sick and they call in a shaman to heal me
afterward, my folks ask me if the shaman has cure my sickness
TRUTHFUL: it did not, i still feel sick
i didn't want to hurt my parent feeling
and lie that im heal
that's when i learn all these stuff is just gullible BULLSHYT ;D

Soooooo tell me you and your cousin saw they do "tithing" right after pastor finish the sermon (sometime during the sermon).
Perhaps you haven't noticed from that church, their "tithing" is the way to pay for learning and listening to Pastor's cherry-picking verses from the bible. You may think the pastor have the holy spirit and it tells him to spread the good news through the book. The question is: can he serves two masters, the holy spirit and the bible? If he has a holy spirit, he don't need the book already. The spirit should've guide him and speak God's words through his mouth. ;D

Unlike you, when I see something not according to their belief I leave the church ASAP and didn't came back again. Unlike you faking it, I honestly tell them I didn't have the holy spirit and I told them I don't have the same mindset as them. ;D

Let's get this straight, first you talk about your uncle went to church then your story changed about your cousin. Hmmm... something is not add up. Sound like the other made up stories about your wife then it lead to another... girlfriend. ???
There's no way the church you and your cousin go to could be that dumb enough to fall for cheap trick like FAKING to receive holy spirit.
