FYI, I follow Tswb Yaj TV channel and you get a close up encounters w/ everyday Hmong living in Ha Giang, their everyday life, nature, beautiful!
-
Good thing he goes there and take some shots.
-
That youtuber, Tswb Yaj, lives there in Ha Giang and he shares his village life, neighbors, charitable work etc.. Very harsh environment. To visit yes, to live no.
-
I don't want to live there either when it's cold during the winter time. No electricity to heat up the rooms. I'll get frostbite when I go hunting out there in the woods for hours.
-
You can be a tourist and enjoy the comfort of home at the same time appreciating/enjoying the beautiful surroundings. If I go to that part of the world, this is where I want to go/stay also, making an impromptu bucket list :D :D

Wow, Vietnam got their own version of Napa Valley in California. I think I can live there for the rest of my summer vacation relaxing and taking my mind off the toxic subjects happen in the states.
-
Northern Vietnam is beautiful! That's where many Hmong people live/ away from the hustle and bustle of life way up on the mountains. Most may be poor but they live on a million dollar views!!!!!
-
I prefer living in the middle (tab tom zoo), not up where it's extremely cold nor down where it's totally hot.
-
What happen to your trips to well known beautiful place in Greece and Italy? Koj yuav muaj CANCEL losyog koj tseem xav txog dabtsi nas.

Oh my gosh, the Azores, this place looks just scenes from the movie AVATAR, CRAZY BEAUTIFUL!

I see. That's Azores from Portugal. A small country next to Spain. Its surrounding makes the rocky terrain very beautiful and look at the waterfall from afar.
For me I'm thinking of Valencia in Spain where the legend happened during 12 centuries ago. The protagonist like Rodrigo Diaz aka El Cid and his wife, Jimena of Austrias, fought alongside with the Moors against El Cid's antagonist brother, Alfonso from Castille, and the Berber.
-
The Azores are beautiful but no mystery there except the beauty of nature so may not suit your taste ;D ;D
-
Come on now, lady. Don't hoard the rest of the spaces. I need enough room for meditating near the waterfall. :P
-
That waterfall will make you fall asleep. You'd rather be in a musty cave unearthing what's underneath and I avoid musty cave.

If I can't sleep then I'll stare at the waterfall so that it hypnotize me to sleep. ;)
I'll hibernate in the musty cave when winter comes. O0
-
unearthing musty cave is an example of your interest to investigate/learn historical facts/new things or your travels includes those sort of itinerary. In Santorini, I'm happy zipping a martini overlooking the Aegean Sea all afternoon but not thee, guessing.
-
Yes, that's what I'm doing b4 the hibernation... exploring the cave to find wonderful things.
In Santorini, I'll be taking a lot of beautiful photos in the day time and night time with high quality phone.
1. selfies
2. candid shoot
3. group photo shoot
4. architecture buildings
5. other things
-
As for me, I'm going to let my eyes take me where it wants to go:) I may find myself walking along the shore of the Aegean Sea, watching tourists doing touristy things like taking photos :D :D, exploring the alleyways and byways of the town (for a bit) etc..
-
Dok_Champa shall share her photos first after the trip to Aegean Sea. Then I'll do mine afterward.

It's on my bucket list and will see. Not this year for sure. But whomever comes or goes first, enjoy!
-
You two should go together. A trip like that needs someone to share with.

It would NOT be proper for us to go together but thank you for the suggestion. I met a friend over the weekend and she has the same interest as I on Santorini and other Europeans getaways. I found a potential travel mate ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D O0 O0 O0 O0 O0 O0 O0

If anyone wants to see longer videos, check out his documentaries at Amazon Prime. There he explains the cultures he experienced and learned about the people he met. Each 11 seasons explain where he have gone to the provinces in Europe, Asia, Eurasia, Middle East, South America. He got some tips what to dos & don'ts over there.
-
His show is more of Europe. I've watched them before and he's pretty knowledgeable. He also takes people on tour or has a tour company for trips to European countries.
-
Not mostly all Europe. At Amazon, from season 7 to 11, he documented England, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Palestine. O0

How was it? ;D
-
One word: Amazing :D :D
On a serious note, yes it was amazing. The country is beautiful/breathtaking enough to inspire tears from within the soul. I can't wait to experience more...
-
You're the second person to say about exploring more countrysides and experience more cultures. :D
