It's apparent that you only hear what you want to hear.

32
those are just fake right wing media news
they trying to brainwash you

if that was the case...

everyday you will see 1,000 christian+++  people get murder here in the states

 ;D ;D ;D

It's not fake right-wing media. I knew about this long before I became curious about politics. This is waaaay back when I used to listen to liberal shows like "This American Life". I wasn't conservative, liberal, libertarian, or anything. Just a curious person who wanted to know more about the goings-on in the world.

I still remember a video that some Hmong people sent our uncle, who lives in Australia. They were burning down the homes of Hmong Christians in Laos for being Christians. This was back in the late 90s. My uncle in Australia is actually an atheist.

Whenever I am feeling super disappointed because I wanted something so much and it was at the tip of my finger that I could touch it, I hear Sean Connery's voice as God.  ;D

There is a scene in my favorite installment of the "Indiana Jones" trilogy - "The Last Crusade" - where Indiana Jones is brushing his fingers against the Holy Grail. If he just extends out a little more then he can grab it, but it means that he'll fall to his death into a pit of eternal darkness. His father, played by Sean Connery, calls to him:

"Indy, let it go." - in the most loving, fatherly way that only a father can call to his child.

Indiana takes one last look at the Holy Grail and then swings his other arm up so that his father can grab him, and pull him up.

Wow, I get teary-eyed just thinking about it. My own father has told me plenty of times as a child to "let it go".

Nothing beats a father who loves you, tells you that everything will be okay (because it always does turn out that way), and makes you feel loved. His love supersedes all the crap that only leads you to your demise, and that he promises to restore joy.

The funny thing is that God knows just how much you wanted something, and He knows that you are so disappointed. But He also knows that there is something better that you couldn't dream up on your own. And He is about to give it to you as soon as you open up the space by letting go of this thing that is giving you anxiety.

You cannot want something more than it wants you.

That is why the love of God and a parent is so important!

...and are too weak to cut them loose yourself.

God hears conversations that you don't have access to. He sees the actions of people who wait to be their real self in your blind spot.

He wants you to remember that whatever and whoever He has set aside to be with you will find their way back to you. There is no fight too big, or no injury too hurtful, that your person would just walk away. The person that God has set aside to be with you will always bear abundance that glorify Him.

It is true. If you love them then honor their wish and let them go when they say good-bye. You did not walk away. They did. If they cannot love and respect you when you were your best, then they surely will not stay when you are at your worst. Let them go.

That's fine if you feel that way. I'm just sharing my stance on this entire Trump Iran situation. Some people are over-reacting but I'm as calm as a saint in Paradise because we've seen these situations before in scripture.

A long time ago my older sister-in-law (this has nothing to do with Trump, politics, political parties, etc.) told me that it's like the movies when the phaj ej appears to be losing, and the audience is on the edge of their seat. They get so riled up and triggered. But in the end, the phaj ej always win.

I'm no psychic but God wins. God always win. And those who have faith in Him are restored by Him.

yes you are

you literally using your biblical text scripture to justify your actions

 ;D ;D ;D

I use them as examples to remind me to have faith in God.

Nobody can serve two masters. A person doesn't need to be religious to see the common sense in that.

All these people crying about how dare Trump threaten the Islamic Republic, and Christians shouldn't support it. Okay, well then should Christians not approve and support the Civil War to abolish slavery? Should the colonists not fight a Revolutionary War to break away from Britain? Should David not have fought Goliath?

Jesus states, "you will hear of wars and rumors of wars... Such things must happen, but the end is still to come" (Matthew 24:6-7).

General Discussion / Re: These Dem control states never learned...

You do understand that the economic growth of a state is also dependent on the type of industry, right? Which means that if and when tech giants decide to leave a blue state and set up their headquarters in a red state, the wealth will flip.

This is why red states were so wealthy during slavery (pre-industrial era) because much of America's wealth was from the plantations.

Don't know why you're so loyal to affluent giants when they can just leave. In fact, many of them went overseas and enriched those countries.

you hate the muslim because they forcing islam on you (so you claim)

than you go and do the same thing

forced christianity on us

 ;D ;D ;D

hahahaa like WTF

you are just like them!!

Nobody is forcing Christianity on anyone. But mark my words, if and when the Muslims have full control, you will be forced to live under their rules, and you will not like it.

39
american's also don't practice christian

FREEDOM OF RELIGION

SAN FRANCisco IS HELLA BEAUTIFUL

you been brainwashed

 ;D ;D ;D O0 O0 O0

Not only have I been to blue cities and states, but I lived there. I don't care for them.

I prefer cities and states that lean a bit more conservative. That's what I call truly diverse. But here is the thing. Some of these areas aren't even strong conservative. It's like 51% conservative and 49% liberal. However, the liberals are such wicked communists that they make it seem like these places are super alt-right just because it's not 100% liberal. Anything that isn't 100% liberal is basically a Nazi to them.

I've come to despise liberals and I don't care for them. In the end, there is no such thing as a moderate liberal. They're really just a closeted conservative, and it's only a matter of time when they will come out. Look at Trump, Gabbard, Russell Brand, Tim Pool, RFK, Jr, etc. A lot of Trump's picks were former liberals so don't know why y'all so mad at them. lol!

There are only radical leftists.

41
Here is the thing. Red states just want to be left alone. If they want to be poor and uneducated then so be it. They just don't want liberals to move there and infect their states.

42

Like this?

Islamist and Islamist-backed groups are the ones slaughtering Christians in parts of the world like Nigeria and South/East Asia.

Who is fleeing to Iran to escape religious persecution? Even Muslims in Iran are fleeing Iran.

Eau Claire isn't exactly on my radar.

You guys had a dying mall, and a few mediocre pho restaurants. The only highlight I ever hear from Hmong in Eau Claire is that it's a short drive to St. Paul - as if that was anything to boast about. They don't even talk about what Eau Claire offers. They only talk about how it's only a little over an hour to get to St. Paul.
