This is what I use for whitebass. It works. Just add a hook to the end and voila!

It's heavy for far-reaching fish!

Megabass Baby Pop X BFS Popper

probably the most expensive lure I would buy.  So just two different ones to try out on order.  Specs are 2" and 3/16th oz. weight.

It would be just a tad bit smaller than the Owner Gobo Popper and a tad bit bigger than the Eurotackle Z-Popper.  It's gonna be a long wait until spring to try this lure out and still waiting for delivery of it.

Shimano BT Spin Bait

Quote
The Shimano BT Spin Bait is an ultra compact and super versatile tailspin bait that is perfect for mimicking small forage. Molded with a small shad profile body shape and a unique lightweight blade design, the BT Spin Bait produces enticing flash and flutter on the retrieve and the fall to lure fish into biting. It also gives anglers the ability to fish it with a horizontal retrieve in open water or use a lift-and-fall technique for vertical jigging. The perfectly shaped underside enables it to sit stationary when it hits the bottom to mimic a frightened baitfish as well. Covered in Shimano’s Scale Boost technology to add another layer or realism, the Shimano BT Spin Bait can cover the entire water column with outstanding efficiency.

The new Clam Psycho Shad ice fishing lure is an imitation of Salmo Chubby Darter.

I remember all the media hype with the Chubby Darter and yeah a lot of people were disappointed with their results.  I was not, as I was quite successful with the Chubby Darter, but have moved on to always the new lures.  It always ready in the tackle box.

Clam also introduce their Tikka Flash lure last year.  Which is sort of an imitation of the JB Spanker lure but only difference is having an attractor blade attached.  It really looks like a failed imitation of a tail spinner, minus the swivel.  They should've double ring attached so the blade would plane out level, better for presentation and fluttering effect.  It was supposed to be the hyped up hot product last year, but that was all marketing hyped.

Eurotackle tail spinner lure: I-Shimmer 3/32oz $5.99

Kind of interesting.  I might buy into in the future, but not sure as of yet.

However I've got my stash of other tail spinners.
