San Francisco offers businesses free rent to fill downtown stores
San Francisco is offering up to six months of free rent for businesses to move into empty storefronts downtown that lost tenants during the pandemic. Sarah Dennis Phillips, the executive director for San Francisco's Office of Economic and Workforce Development, joins CBS News with more program details.
It's not because of the pandemic... it's because of city, county and state policies that drove these people out. If I was a business owner, I would not want to set up shop in CA.
More reason why people are leaving SF... cops arrested a man for eating a sandwich. The incident could have been handled with "excuse me, but you can't eat here... finish what you have and don't eat again. Thank you..." instead of getting 3 more goons to arrest the man.
