oh dear, since it is new, I'm expecting for an increase in numbers of splitting the lane crashes.

It still take skills to learn how to split them lanes.  A few times, I don't even see them coming and I could of easily change lanes myself and cut a cycle guy off.

I'm a former rider myself and call me a rookie but I will stay behind a car when in traffic.   :2funny:

We used to joke about this one friend that met this chick from Washington state while he just graduated from the U of M.  Once graduated, he married her right away.  She then quit her job and moved to Burnsville and opened up a Dental practice.  The wife is the dentist while he's the receptionist.  He was only 21 and she was 31 when he married her.  He married for obligation and now he's doing well.

My Mn cousin had the chance to hook up with an older chick from our trip to the OC.  This chick owns 5 pho houses.  This chick was all over my cousin.  We had a beer and thinking back, he could of married that chick for his obligation.  Say what you say but he gets to live in a big mansion, driving any toy cars that he wanted and she probably will give him a credit card to spend with, all in her name.  Laugh all you want but that's how the west was won.

I mean comparing that to us being almost 50 years old and still no wife and kids, the fear of missing out is real.  Old age reflection creeps on in.  Goals and accomplishment s in this arena go out the window.  You missed your chances there buddy.

The struggle is real and at our age, I'm not mad at those who took the path to secure their life and are happy now.   O0

I didn't go this year and the numbers for this year is less than last year

I also heard that they have a fenced out area for those who are buying an $8 beer.  Now to enter this arena, you gotta pay $5 cover charge.  Now that's diabolical.   :2funny:

hahahah

we are screw

 :D :D :D

No you are not screwed.  Let me show you how you can capitalize this situation and exploit it to your benefit.

You open a non profit business.  You ask your hmong food stamp folks to sign under your company as the 80 hours a month employee.  They promise not to collect a paycheck and continues to stay at home and collect their food stamp money.  For you being a non profit, you can ask the government to send you funding to run your non profit.  You keep all them tax dollars and you buy yourself a c8 carvette and join the hmong carvette club of the midwest.

In tough times like this, you gotta think like the criminal that your uncle Orange guy that he is.   :2funny:

I can not believe it.  Like a ghost town

Lots of factors but some could be the viral rumor of car window break ins and homeless issues.  Plus them SF politicians are so soft on crimes and they seems not to care or bail out these SF landmarks.  It's a shame as I haven't been back to the fisherman's wharf in at least 10 years.

How can a world's iconic landmark be like this?  This is crazy and sad.   :'(

I would say as long as she the money flowing in then she's more happy.

I mean she could marry a hmong guy but you know how happy she would of been if this hmong guy is so typical that he rather goes fishing and hunting and neglect his family and kids.

Okay, who hurt you?

I sense that you had a childhood trauma that influenced you to pick the wrong partner. That wrong partner damaged you.

Btw, I didn't say that to mock you or judge you, or anything. I know another PHer who is in the same boat as you.

Without commitment, there is no love.

It is just an understanding to the dating culture nowadays.  If you are calling me "damaged" then I'll call you old school.  You keep your old school ways of thinking when it comes to love and romance but  you need to understand something and that is the evolution of love.  Everything we have learned in our generation has become obsolete.  We now have gen Y, gen z, the alpha....

These are the gen that I'm adapting when I talk about love nowadays because as these are the reality.  Haven't you heard?  Those same gen in china are called the "lying flat or rat people" when it comes to the work force.  They don't want to work and are living with their parents till they die.  It's a reality.  Our generations have them too but it is not a rising trend that becomes an epidemic over there in china.  Our generation calls them lazy bum but I'm concerning about this new rise in this newer generation.

Bottom line is that there is an evolution changes and if you don't know, you better know.  Love is still over rated.  The next generations are now marrying for security first and not love.  Boarder line gold digging mentality but that's just the way it has been working in these days.  Getting marry to be rich or poor, it's a personal choice.  Not many are old school who would marry for love and accept for poor and death do them part.  Financial issue is still the #1 causal for many divorces.

"54% of people believe a partner with debt is a reason to consider divorce "

General Relationship / Re: The Hmong way is all backwards
« on: April 21, 2025, 07:19:48 PM »
lol

Both ways are horrible.

Can people not grow a relationship without the sex??? That really ruins a person when it doesn't work out. I didn't even know about this thing called a "soul tie", but apparently even pastors talk about it.

soul tie is real and if I think what it means

For instant, if I don't know you, there is a firewall between you and I.  We are strangers however, once we hook up and in the heat of the moment, my body heat will become one with you.  After the incident, no matter how much I tried to deny it, I can see my aura around you.  I once dated a chick.  We were seen in public and this guy came up to us and he would pet her hair which I thought was disrespectful but he did it anyway.  I then questioned her to who the hell he is and she said it was one of her fling. It doesn't give him the permission to do what he did but his energy field is with her still.

I mean doesn't it get hot and bothered when you guys are having sex?  It is like dragon ball z.  Energy fields all around us and that is why some people say that the sex will bind the two of you guys together.  This is why some women that likes you will not say no to you when you want sex.  They think that it will make the relationship stronger.  Only if they know that I'll hit and run.   :2funny:

The science of psychology.

More non god believers are coming from that sector.  They have an answer for everything but can not figure out why a Christian would believe in a God.  By digging further, they might be afraid that the truth will lead them to God.

The god of the self
