Nevaeh Crain was crying in pain, too weak to walk, blood staining her thighs. Feverish and vomiting the day of her baby shower, the 18-year-old had gone to two different emergency rooms within 12 hours, returning home each time worse than before.

The first hospital diagnosed her with strep throat without investigating her sharp abdominal cramps. At the second, she screened positive for sepsis, a life-threatening and fast-moving reaction to an infection, medical records show. But doctors said her six-month fetus had a heartbeat and that Crain was fine to leave.

Now on Crain’s third hospital visit, an obstetrician insisted on two ultrasounds to “confirm fetal demise,” a nurse wrote, before moving her to intensive care.

By then, more than two hours after her arrival, Crain’s blood pressure had plummeted and a nurse had noted that her lips were “blue and dusky.” Her organs began failing.

Hours later, she was dead.

TX does not even banned abortion outright (no abortion allows - no exception).
This is the law in TX.
There is an exception for situations in which the life or health of the pregnant patient is at risk. In order for the exception to apply, three factors must be met:

1-   A licensed physician must perform the abortion.
2- The patient must have a life-threatening condition and be at risk of death or "substantial impairment of a major bodily function" if the abortion is not performed. "Substantial impairment of a major bodily function" is not defined in this chapter.
3- The physician must try to save the life of the fetus unless this would increase the risk of the pregnant patient's death or impairment.

I saw this same BS during covid. Any death, no matter the cause, as long as the person had covid - list it as death by covid. Even if you went in for a heart attack, you'll be listed as covid death if you have it in your system. One of my uncle, who suffered from a stroke for 10yrs, finally die in 2022 with his second stroke and the hospital listed his cause of death as covid. His family fought the hospital and had it changed to stroke.

I highly doubt it.

It's when there is an infection in the uterus, which is a big risk before, during, and after an abortion. But it can also happen when the water leaks/breaks and the woman doesn't go into labor. If she is far enough along in her pregnancy then the doctor will induce her labor - meaning she will be given a solution that causes early labor or she can elect to have a cesarean surgery. If the baby is not far enough along then she will still be given a solution to birth early. But the baby is at most risk of dying because it's too early. Therefore, the mother would have to sign off on that. The abortion-crazed wants to term that as consent to an abortion.
