Can you spare a moment and read my Christmas list
I don’t have a lot, just a few simple request
Granting them, I’ll be blessed
I know I haven’t been on my best behavior
I made mistakes and I should suffer
I realize my sins and now I’m wiser
I can’t make any promises but I’m willingly to trade whatever for her
Can you make her surroundings white with snow
If possible, keep her from the winter cold
Even though it’s not me, have someone for her to hold
Have him hold her close, have his fingers run through her hair of marigold
Fill her life with happiness
In exchange I’ll bare all her sadness
Her smile, her laughter, her presence, vivacious

If promises arent guarantees then why does such a word exist? So you're promises are empty emotions. That means you're hollow inside. Have you not heart Scarecrow? Death is not guaranteed. The physical body may perish but not the evidence left behind by that person. Jesus risen from death. :o That's your belief isn't it? ;D

Sometimes promises are broken because people change as time passes by.....or something happens to detain the person from fulfilling the promise......t hese are just a couple of examples of why promises can be broken. It doesn't always have to do with a weak will. :P
