This is another example of Republicans ignoring the facts and listening to someone make an explanation up that matches their narratives.

Simple Fact: Trump rolled back bank regulations back in 2018 and allowed the banks to over invest people’s deposits in an attempt to make the most profits for themselves, And he patted himself on the back for it too. Those measures were put in place during the Obama administration after bailing out the banks. They were meant to ensure this doesn’t happen again and Trump got rid of them because bankers said they were unnecessary. Well guess what?  SVB just proved they were necessary. Republicans just can’t admit they’re wrong.
