I'm on the right side of the fix

It's a roll of the dice and some are lucky to be with the one they wanted all along but by choosing that route, there comes obstacles like he's a bum or she's a bum but we loved each other.

Some are content with what they have or hook up with.  Not my first choice but a choice is still a choice and here we are.

there shouldn't be buyer's remorse as that is how the cookie crumbles.  If you add time, loyalty will be build as both will find this connection, especially if you add sex and kids involved, that is instant connection as they refer it to when they say the two is now becoming 1.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone you know got deported?
« on: February 18, 2026, 03:40:24 PM »
My cousin on the inlaw aunt side got deported last December.

He wasn't a criminal.  He came to the USA with the rest of us but we all got smarter and went for our citizenship and because he moved to Chicago from narleans, we were not able to keep tabs on him.  He thought his green card was for life and doesn't have an expiration date, he kept delaying and delaying and life just caught you by surprises as time flies on by.  Then it hits him and he was scrambling around to get some immigration lawyer to look into his case.  It was harder for him to get his renewal once expired and plus the world at the time was unrest with terrorist issues with 9-11 so his paperwork got delayed even further.  Fast forward till last year as he kept on moving around often to different states to stay under the radar, he was finally caught as they tracked his movements.  They deported him back to Vietnam.  The whole family went to say their last good bye and made arrangements to see what they can do like sending money over to him so he can survive.  The guy is bi lingual so he should be ok.  Only hard thing is he has to figure it all out by himself as all of the families are here in the States.

Well life goes on.  I now have a tour guide if I wanted to go back for a visit.  In other news, these laos guys deportees have went to social media on facebook to document their life in laos and they said they are doing well, even better than in the states.  Some have found jobs as they could not find a job in the states with a felony record on their backs.  They have to survived for x amount of years before they can apply for their citizenship over there.  Cambodia is just next door to Vietnam.  Some of my people have moved to the outskirt of Cam, as they called it to live and thrive as the people living on boats.  What jacked up is no matter how long they have lived in Cambodia, they can never become citizen.  This means no higher education, no healthcare, no rights.  We are talking about a few generations that are still living there after the fall of saigon.   Its a way of life and a peaceful life to them.  Every day life is not as a struggle to them as the only biggest hurdles are the elements as they watch the weather or the moving of the water to either go to higher ground or on low tide, they will then can move further out to other islands as they are fisherman by trade.

I learned all of these issues on youtube.  :2funny:

Heard her BF is a billionaire.  Her decision is probably influences by the coaching of her richie richie someone who told her that money comes first, even over allegiance.  Like they said, the Chinese are good with business.  If they can sell their own mother, they would.

Last I checked, China must be pissed because she didn't bring home the gold for China.  She got silver

oh dear, since it is new, I'm expecting for an increase in numbers of splitting the lane crashes.

It still take skills to learn how to split them lanes.  A few times, I don't even see them coming and I could of easily change lanes myself and cut a cycle guy off.

I'm a former rider myself and call me a rookie but I will stay behind a car when in traffic.   :2funny:

We used to joke about this one friend that met this chick from Washington state while he just graduated from the U of M.  Once graduated, he married her right away.  She then quit her job and moved to Burnsville and opened up a Dental practice.  The wife is the dentist while he's the receptionist.  He was only 21 and she was 31 when he married her.  He married for obligation and now he's doing well.

My Mn cousin had the chance to hook up with an older chick from our trip to the OC.  This chick owns 5 pho houses.  This chick was all over my cousin.  We had a beer and thinking back, he could of married that chick for his obligation.  Say what you say but he gets to live in a big mansion, driving any toy cars that he wanted and she probably will give him a credit card to spend with, all in her name.  Laugh all you want but that's how the west was won.

I mean comparing that to us being almost 50 years old and still no wife and kids, the fear of missing out is real.  Old age reflection creeps on in.  Goals and accomplishment s in this arena go out the window.  You missed your chances there buddy.

The struggle is real and at our age, I'm not mad at those who took the path to secure their life and are happy now.   O0

I didn't go this year and the numbers for this year is less than last year

I also heard that they have a fenced out area for those who are buying an $8 beer.  Now to enter this arena, you gotta pay $5 cover charge.  Now that's diabolical.   :2funny:

hahahah

we are screw

 :D :D :D

No you are not screwed.  Let me show you how you can capitalize this situation and exploit it to your benefit.

You open a non profit business.  You ask your hmong food stamp folks to sign under your company as the 80 hours a month employee.  They promise not to collect a paycheck and continues to stay at home and collect their food stamp money.  For you being a non profit, you can ask the government to send you funding to run your non profit.  You keep all them tax dollars and you buy yourself a c8 carvette and join the hmong carvette club of the midwest.

In tough times like this, you gotta think like the criminal that your uncle Orange guy that he is.   :2funny:

I can not believe it.  Like a ghost town

Lots of factors but some could be the viral rumor of car window break ins and homeless issues.  Plus them SF politicians are so soft on crimes and they seems not to care or bail out these SF landmarks.  It's a shame as I haven't been back to the fisherman's wharf in at least 10 years.

How can a world's iconic landmark be like this?  This is crazy and sad.   :'(
