I think Rock was talking about calves... not cow.
My cousin bought two cows for funeral in Michigan just recently from an Amish farmer and they were $1500 each. Amish aren't that dumb and out of touch about inflation and cost...

What do Amish in Ca know about Amish in Wi?  Are there even Amish people in cA? Or was King talking about Amish peeps in WI?

But in any case, perhaps not $300 but I recall visiting an WI Amish farm where the guy raised cows. About 4 Hmong families from Milwaukee were there and they butchered all four of his stock. They were between 4-5 months old. He was selling them for about $400 each at the time. This was about 3-4 years ago. I’m sure prices have gone up since then.

The below LIE explains why even the Amish I ran into have never heard of the "$300/cow" in WI...

The LIE:

right now is a good time to kill cow
the cow are done/about to give birth

my farm guy is selling his cow for $300
i'm going go butcher it later this month

The Inquiries from other members including those in Wisconsin:

-w1s3m0n asked...

-Dok_Champa asked...

Where can I find some?

Pob Zeb, if you ever come across an address let me know.

Thanks.

I don't know where Amish can be found in WI.  Pob Zeb said in Eau Claire but where?  I'm very bad w/ direction so if anyone knows where Amish can be found, PM me directions...

Thanks.

Ok, no chicken yet and that's a great deal on a cow.  Do you normally have a "go to" person for your chickens and cow?

Yes will be a long drive for me and Amish do not have phone so no way to contact before going.

-Mr_Mechanic asked...

Quote
so where is this amish guy who sells cows for $300?  need address.  if possible, a phone too.

-Mr_Mechanic caught the compulsive liar red-handed for his repeated lies about cheap cow and called him out

Quote
it ain't gonna happen.  this subject has been beat down too many times.

Then Tuck and Run as well as LIE some more:

They don’t have cellphone

I don’t have the address

I have the address
