We just moved this past winter and I have not even had the time to clean the garage.  Like you said there's just not enough time.

I track this car. Not all stanced or aggressive looking cars are just for show.  Stance is just how a car is planted on the ground(or the position). It doesn't necessarily mean crazy camber and non-functional.

I like the aggressive look, but for me it has to be functional. Some people don't like it, because its a lot of work to them and its complex. For me, its not a lot of work and I'm willing to take on the challenge.

NICE!  I'm thinking about getting a Audi ALLROAD.  What do you think?  They seem reliable but I don't know much about the V6 TT.

The Allroad is an interesting car.  It's like a Mini.  Owners love their Mini but complain about maintenance/reliability but still buy another Mini knowing full well what they're getting into.

The Allroad is also considered Audi's most unreliable vehicle (scary huh?) but also hailed as one of their best by the same owners.  It's really, really bizarre.

Audi's reliability has risen a lot since the beginning of the 2000's. I think the Allroad is also a very new car so there's bound to be some issues here and there. I bet you that if you buy the newer Allroads or wait for old Allroads to get their recalls done and buy the older cars on the cheap.

I believe that most cars today are pretty reliable and it's really up to the owners to get the recalls done and to take care of the maintenance of the car. As long as the owner does those things owning the car itself should not be an issue. Souping up cars today is 10 times easier then it was 10 years ago. So as long as you have the money I don't see why you shouldn't get the Allroad.

Only had it for a month already racked up a little over 8000 miles. Not bad since I don't work weekends. 450HP 10 speed with a built in break room

Your doing it all wrong. It's not stance enough. The tires need to be smaller and the camber angle needs to be -20.

Stance is just how an object is position. It takes money to be low aggressive and functional which not a lot of people can afford.  You must be one of those guys who drive plain looking cars, hate yourself and never have anything nice to say.  LoL..  Life must be tough.

Wan a hear my stance story?

I'll tell it anyways.

Anyways there was too much positive camber on the back passenger wheel.  I was just too lazy to adjust it and make it at least nuetral.

Anyways one day I was driving with all of weight in the car and the camber broke and snapped and my tire blew and well, I had to call a tow truck.

Ok it's not really a stance story, just a camber story

Positive is never good for me & over -2.8 camber is too much for me.  My fronts are currently -1.0 front and 1.5 rear for the lexus. Toe for both are set to 0.

The S2000 is a little more aggressive in the rear because its max out and can't be adjusted anymore while the fronts are @ -0.5 neg camber.  I have adjustable control arms coming to correct the rear of the S2000.

I think I'm going to see if I can trade my civic for a s2000 tomorrow.

2005 model, I don't like drive by wire.

We'll see, I'm just so lazy driving the distance to talk to the dealer.

I saw a cheaper 50k mile or so 2006 susuka blue s200 for like 16.5... but dang I don't like the drive by wire.  I think that's a decent deal.

These things are fast being collector's cars in my opinion.

And to keep one bone stock!

Shoudl've bought that R back then.  Could've easily flipped it for double the price in a couple of years.

The stance is fine on the IS. Any lower with more camber and stretch and the functionality of the car goes to shiit.  I will say that 17" rims always look small on an IS.

@ Carlos these 17s actually look okay for the car.  I opt for 17s cause I've tried 18s & 17s for track and the 17s worked out better for me.  Plus it'll be easier to swap wheels from the S2000 & Lexus.

@ theposter if you're going to buy to collect its a waste of time.  S2000s are meant to be driven & driven hard.  They handle pretty well & even better with upgraded suspension, wheels and tires.  Its a great rack car but not really practical for daily use.  Some people do it but it isn't that comfortable and the interior is quite plan.  Drive one to see if you like it.

I believe stances comes from the ricer crowd who can't afford to properly modify their car with the good stuff so they buy a bunch of cheap ebay stuff, slap it on and call it stance. Yes, I know plenty of "those guys". I see them all the time. Plus what is wrong with a plain looking car? It look less ulgy and break down less. Even the old CRX looks awesome stock until it gets mangle by "those crowd".

No rubbing, turns well, but the tires are a bit too tall for me. Needs 40 series.
