Is the ball tossing game during Hmong new year a form of today's speed dating? If so, wish I was younger

It can be.  Although you get better results standing next to the girl you like and tossing the ball to her friend.  It's kinda hard to do much talking when you're actually her partner cause you so far apart.

Can't wait til this New Years...all my nieces will be flying in from all over the US.  Tossing ball this year will be a blast for daughter and nieces....so many of them.

That makes sense, so you really don't get to talk to them? And everything is by looks and when you find them attractive do you just approach them and chase them?
