(laptop) car adapter.  I'm thinking about getting one for a road trip coming up in a few weeks.

I bought a power converter from costco before.  I think it was like $30 bucks or something.  It works pretty good, it has a couple of usb ports for your usb powered devices and a standard power plug for your laptop.

inverter? get atleast a 100 watt model for a laptop use. yeah, about 20-30 bucks.
