mcaffine virus scan? it reduce your computer speed by 30% to 50%.

No way. Norton AntiVirus was the worst. I'd rather have a real virus than that crap on my computer. Even though it's supposed to be very good now, I still won't ever put Norton on any machine I touch. Ever.

I don't know why so many people would tolerate virus scan software that drains their computer resources just like a normal virus would.

Norton AV or Symantec Endpoint Protection is probably the worst one. SEP is HUGE and heavy on your system. Running SEP is like putting a 500 lbs sumo wrestler in a suv. ;D

Yes it is a resource hog, but I actually like it compared to other corporate products. I like the fact that it's very centralized and easy to maintain once installed. There are many uses for SEP and I like being able to block hardware devices using SEP.

Right! SEP is very centralized and easy to maintain...tha t's why our CIO bought a boat load of them. SEP has its own firewall, too.
It's funny cause SEP's firewall was on, so was the windows one.
