I am tempted to get a Kindle DX for $400.  I know I want to wait for better version but I want one now.

I just don't understand why the kindles are so expensive.  Amazon should sell them around $50 and $100.  The idea is not to make money off the kindle but from the ebooks.  But giving people access to ebook readers, people will buy more ebooks.
