Maybe hardware and driver issues?
I don't recall seeing any blue screen of death yet.

Do a windows update and install the hotfixes.

no idea what it was but.. first time after installation was done, i installed partition 8 on it and it gave me the bluescreen.
wasn't even able to install partition8. >:(
something must not have been right..so i deleted the partition, and created a new one, reinstalled win7 and so far no blue screen yet but not many softare are compatitible with win7..
any one here know where i can down load toshiba drivers?

can't run eclips on windows 7 nor windows visual studio :-\

It's very easy...Start/All Programs/Windows Update
Now see how much easier when we all use complete sentences: Click on the Start icon at the bottom left corner of your screen. Click on All Programs and then Windows Update. There....you'll find all the stuff that you're missing, including your toshiba drivers. If you're having troubles running certain programs, try running it using windows compatibility mode. If that fails, then use windows xp mode....this will absolutely work if you're just trying to run a program.

I am not sure about eclipse but it should work on windows 7 without a problem. As for VS, it should work and if windows 7 complains, you will need the SP that comes with your VS. Install the SP and everything should work especially VS.
