I know you’ve been waiting
But we both know he’s not calling
So you sit there into the late evening
You hear the phone ring but you’re only dreaming
My number is in your phone
When you call, I’ll save your number to a sweet ring tone
Call me, I’ll make you forget that you were ever alone
Better yet, I’ll come over and get close, I want you on me like cologne
I’ll wipe away your tears
I’ll cast away your fears
I’ll be someone who’ll be there to lend an ear
Most of all, I want to share with you all my years
It’s my business to know if you’re alright
So dial my number and I’ll make you smile like a sprite
I’ll be outside listening to your voice while gazing at the moonlight
We’ll do it again the next day after “good night”
