(this was written for his funeral)
Young and Free I am
Challenging life without fear
Searching for the truth, I ran
Chasing the wind every where
Comes my way a beautiful bride
Who makes her heart my home
Treasuring moments by her side
Never going to leave her alone
News of a baby coming our way
This joy can only be God send
Without warning, everything changed that day
One split second to seize an end
A drunk driver took my life
So this is what I have to say
Do not drink and drive
Or someone’s daddy has to pay
Have you said I love you lately?
You better act fast
And share your smile openly
Your time may not last
Don’t let busy life cloud your mind
Too many moments we let fly
Time can cut you from behind
All of a sudden, it’s goodbye
Wish I could hold you little child
Give your mama a smile for me
We’ll have to wait for a little while
To meet each other in eternity
So listen up my friend
Do not drink and drive
A wife can lose her husband
Do not drink and drive
A child can lose a daddy

Yes, time is certainly precious. The end we all do not foreseen.
Great piece and heart felt.
