I overheard someone say that the tv's for sale on black friday aren't really that great that's why they are selling for cheap.   :o  Makes me wonder about things...  that... maybe some black friday items are not good.  Some are.  I guess you just have to do your own research.

Black Friday for electronics in a nutshell.
Super duper cheap no name brand or super crappy big name brand that has known issues.

Don't get me wrong you can get good deals but you're not going to get the best deals on the high end stuff.  Why?  Because people will pay top dollar for those items and they don't require much advertising; the product speaks for itself.

I don't see the difference without 4K content.  I don't think it is worth the extra money.  Might have to wait 5 more years.

It'll be worth it when the content and services are ready but damn you may have to wait awhile.  I mean 5k monitors are out (can't stop staring at the resolution and space) and they are pretty expensive but my gosh they look so good.

As for buying the top of the line products more power to you.  I honestly could not afford to chase the rabbit's tail and prefer to go midrange.  Why?  Because I know in less than 6months that top of the line product will be quite affordable.

My MacBook Pro has 3k screen on a 15 inch screen.  Everything looks so sharp and clear.  Loving it.

Hope Apple adopt 4k 15 inch screen.  It would be beyond the limit of the human eye.

4K is great for video, pix, and games, but beyond that, it sucks.  I bought this for my neices/nephews and Windows 7 just sucks at resizing the fonts.

If you run it at 4k, the text becomes too small.  So, I set their desktop resolution to 2560x1440.

I heard Win8 does better at resizing the fonts, but haven't tried it.

Next time when I do go 4k, it needs to be on at least a 38"+ monitor.

38" monitor would hurt my eyes, neck and back.
