By powershell, are you talking about the advanced windows command processor (or advanced MS-DOS prompt)?

yeap i have some expeirence.. never wrote any scripts though, super super powerful..
to get practice, just type in google the command prompt commadn you want and you can star getting basic powershell down

That is PowerShell. It's native in all flavors of Windows since Seven. PowerShell if very useful to sys admins. However, depending on your size company maintaining scripts becomes frowned upon. It also depends on what you're trying to do e.g. audit, compliance, asset mgmt, IDAM . . . etc. For large and I mean large 150K global users, they tend to use 3rd party off the shelf software. This is usually done for insurance, risk, (industry) security purposes.
Even after saying all of that, it's still good to now PowerShell.
