Nothing special, other than the fact that it is Friday. Gonna chill with the family tonight with a movie and then sleeping in tomorrow. Or waking up early tomorrow and going to look at a truck, (maybe). Have a good weekend.

I'm finally going to buy myself a gun. Been wanting one for a long time but could never bite the bullet to do so. Since all these crazy things are happening now adays I guess I better get one for home protection.

I've been tackling my spring cleaning all week and maybe this weekend as well...4 big loads of clothes to goodwill ...
and then continue doing my kitchen reorganization ...I'm even thinking about switching out all my lights to a more modern look now that I know the dynamic of how a lightbulb work ;D
need baskets to organize my pantries...I was going to type out panties and caught myself..lol! :P
then tackle my makeup section and clean my makeup brushes...
I'm also having guests over and got my rooms clean and bed sheets washed for them...only to wash it again after they leave
nice... i hear you... i need to do something about my garage... have fun...

I had a '99 Tacoma once, never should of sold that thing. I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road in mind. So we'll see.

I'm also excited about changing out the ballast on the flickering fluorescent lights in my kitchen...been reading and youtubing for the past 2 nights and for some reason...I've got some itchy hands wanting to just do it now...
then back to Lowes or Home Depot later after work to buy a lightbulb extension kit ...so that I can also change out my Arlo cameras...the darn hail storm and cold had drained out the batteries ....
yeah... diy projects aren't bad once you fully understand what you're doing...

Taurus pt111...9mm. Its a cheap gun but shoots and feels good in my hands. The prices on them have gone down so I'm to jump on it.

yea I heard. But I'm not really a gun person. I am buying only for those rare(I hope it never happens) moment some stranger comes knocking my door at 3 in the morning. I won't be going to the gun range a lot or having my kids around it.

Around here they usually run around $189-$229 depending on the color and store.

You have the wrong mindset there. You get a gun n you practice with it. You don't buy it to have it sits there n collect dust. Let's say you will need it one day. With your lack of gun skills, you could be trigger happy n shoot what you can't see in the dark n it turns out to be a family member.
Not to mention, your mindset is not ready to shoot at anyone. You will freeze up cuz your heart will race so fast that you will have a hard time figuring it out to what to do next. You think it is easy to shoot at a human being? Have you think it through about killing a human being? You will have to live for the rest of your life, knowing that you took out a life.
My message is your you to get the right mindset so you can equip yourself the throughout knowledge when it comes to guns n the consequences.

bear spray... i have a .357 mag revolver... anything within 25 yards i can pretty hit wherever i want put i don't ever use it for home protection... my bottle of bear spray is however on my night stand...
