Depends as some Hmong-Laotians can have more money and/or resources than some Hmong-Americans...Simple common knowledge...so a MacBook is no big deal...

Do they even sell MacBook Pro in Laos?

I just assume the majority of Laotians couldn’t afford it so it makes no sense for Apple to sell it there. Of course for elites they can have access to anything.

If some Hmong in Laos can afford to buy a 40k Toyota Tacoma aka Hilux,  a 1k MacBook is nothing...
