Ok, I'm coming to Fresno for an event in the Fall and want to do a little exploring. I love the beach, sea side cliffs, nature, hiking trails, sea food, diverse community, etc.... . Ok, any recommendation(s)?

Man Fresno is a little far from the coast (2.5-3.0 hours away) but cut across to Monterey and Carmel via highway 152. Once there, take highway 1 south to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park for some hiking..
Unfortunately the Mud Creek landslide from last year is still not fixed yet so you can't go south to San Luis Obisbo County unless you want to go the long way via Nacimiento-Fergusson road or highway 101. However, you did say "Fall" so it should be fixed by then.

Work in progress, should be complete in September:

Bay Area will fulfill your criteria or head to SCal and it will also be what you are looking for.

I heard stories about lost lake..... Lake is haunted.

I can't tell you cuz my mind still lingers in ATL.
Cali is saturated for me. Had it not for taking care of my dad, I'll find a way to move myself to the dirty south.
If you want to find things to do, Google such city with keywords like 10 things to do in let's say San Francisco and take notes.
Enjoy your stay and try not to get bored with Cali.

these can be done in a day, usually a drive through is enough to get you bored.

When you land at SFO, you can just cut across west on 380 towards San Bruno to Rockaway Beach and make your way down to Pacifica, Gray Whale beach, Maverick's beach to Venice Beach in Half Moon Bay along the PCH 1...Then Keep going south til you get to Watsonville then cut across east on 152 to Fresno...
