pretty sad, but true
i work in financial and see it all the times
i know some hmong people like to pretend
that they are middle class
but yes
your $100k mortgage and that $30k car
that alone puts you in the hole at -$130k

As recently as 2016, the Federal Reserve surveyed more than 5,000 Americans about their financial situation. Among the findings was one startling statistic: Approximately 46% of Americans stated they do not have enough money to cover a $400 emergency expense.

I know people who flaunt their appearances in the millions but when bills are only in the hundreds, they can't pay.

there a great book
call "the millionaire next door"
worth a read
but i will break down the short version
1. average joe who invest
2. frugal lifestyle
3. spouse who stay at home and take care of the kids
i'm kinda of surprise at the spouse stay home thing
but yes
-
a lot of hmong folks, i talk to
they don't included things like
mortgage, auto loan, student debt, credit card, etc...
sureeee...
you have $10k in your saving account
and $25k in your 401k retirement
but you are still -$130k+++ in debt
from mortgage, auto loan, student debt, credit card,
hahah
slave to the system
the chain are invisible but it's there
-
you gotta invest
if you want to be rich
at least take the 401k at work
6%-10% of your paycheck
and you will be good later in life
-
Lol I don't believe it

regarding a mortgage... in this up-turn economy... though i am slaving away to make my $900.00 monthly payment... i have over 200k in equity so i wldn't necessarily consider it debt... i could sell it, as is, right now and cash out some property with a house in southern wisconsin for 50k and retire comfortably but wisconsin sucks giant cow balls so the chances of me doing that is next to none... lol!
-
i have family in wausau, madison, and milwaukee... but like i said... wisconsin suck balls so bad i wldn't be caught living there ever... lol! there's a reason why wisconsin is relatively cheap compared to colorado... it sucks and many of u hmong folks there are fat and alcoholics... be drinking 40's almost every weekend cause u ain't have nothing better to do... lol!

What are your thoughts on people who are so bent on "status" ... like doctors, lawyers?
They expect you to address them "Attorney Reporter" or "Dr. Fancee".

Wrong, "People on PH" were not "upset"...
Wrong part II, CM PUNK already had a fight before that fight...

if you want to be rich
Why do all that when you can win millions of dollars through the powerball and lottery since you claimed to be the "hmong Nostradamus" and is "always right"...

this are some really wealthy people in good income
3 takeaway
1. frugal
2. good job
3. spouse who stay at home (tend the kids)
