so an Pher message me private
i thought i share
mutual fund are a collection of stocks/funds/etc...
the whole point of mutual fund is so you don't have to activity manage and plus you hold alot of stock/fund/etc.. and diversity
they can only be traded once the market closes
with mutual fund, you enter an amount you want to invest
so if you have $200, you enter $200
you are owning tons of companies, when you invest in a mutual fund
so if one goes bankrupt, you still good
where stock, it you can be traded through out the day
it prices goes up and down throughout the day
so if you have $200 and the stock is $40 each
you will buy 5 shares (5x$40=200)
stock is usually one company
so you are investing in one company
if this one company goes bankrupt
you lose everything, risk is pretty high
-
ETF= exchange traded fund
ETF are like mutual fund
but they can be traded throughout the day like stock
remember, how i say mutual fund can only be traded after the market close
because they are traded through out the day and kinda like stock
you can't do $200
you will need to buy 5 share of ETF $40 (assuming the ETF cost $40)=$200

this is why we don't buy single stock
this company is also known as MOVIEPASS
where you pay a subscription, it was $9.99
and you get to see a new movie at the theater every day
that's crazyy......
because have you gone to the movie?
a new movie like is like $11.99 here
that's like 30 movies every month, if you go every day
going operate in debt, unstainable
if you invest earlier this month at $50 share, your share will be worth 7 cent today
never buy single stock
risk is high
this company will go bankrupt soon

Thank you there Mr. finance....

Just like gambling but you don't lose it all in one shot unless chit hits the ceiling.
Got to do what the white man is doing to come up.
-
If you want to go with the somewhat safer route when buying stock, then I suggest buy some shares from companies that will most likely live on for a while. Companies dealing with technology seems to be a good choice. Bought some shares of Microsoft a few years back when it was in the $20s.

there are risk in all investment
even single stock like microsoft
at one time even APPLE was close to bankrupt
that's why we don't buy single stock
if we do, it's probably like $100-1,000
money that we can live if we lose it all
instead, buy the whole market
if the whole market when bankrupt
than apocalypse is here

Well moviepass is going for a reverse split. Next price you might see from them is in the $20 range.

If you want stability, go with what is hyping unless regulation shits her down.
Elon musk says he wants to take TSLA private. This way, he can Dodge the public's market as there are shorties that wants this company to fail and make money off their loss.
Well let's see them try as TSLA is better valuation than GM Ford.
She is at the $300 range now. Once go private, $400
A few of my boys are with TSLA and I hear things. They say they see elon hanging out in the hallway and dude be playing Twitter I his Fon. :2funny:

Two interesting thing
If Tesla goes privately at $420
They are willing to pay $420 for your stock
Easy gain
That’s why their stock went up
Or
Elon can just be shitting you
And mean nothing
Either way
We need to get the SEC and FBI involves
Because this is some serious securities fraud

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has made inquiries to Tesla over CEO Elon Musk's tweets about taking the company private, reported Dow Jones on Wednesday, citing sources

I have $300 to spare. How and where should I put it?

Funny to see frauds point "fraud" out...It's as funny as seeing the handful members of the narrow minded ignorant clique going after each other to see who's more narrow minded and ignorant... ;D ;D ;D

I wasn't suggesting putting all your money into one company. But like you said there's risk in all investment, and if someone decideds to buy single stocks, might invest in a safer company. When Apple almost went bankrupt was actually a really good time to invest in its stock. Buying for really low and see how the stock bounced back up. But it is gambling, so it's up to whoever wants to take the risk.
