Back when PH first came to light, and we were all friendly, honest ... we were all generous in sharing pictures of ourselves and our families.
As time goes by, the attitude of "don't trust anyone on PH" becomes more and more. Pictures were shared less and less to non-existent.
I missed those days when PH was a place where I can come in to meet new people, make new friendships and even take that to meeting and greeting each other in person. It was then that I met so many of you and got to know such beautiful people like you existed.
Moving forward to 2018 ... we all grew up! Everyone moved on.
I'm older. Much much older with gray hair. And the desire to be on PH seems a distant away. Looking back, touched by laughter, tears of joy, knowledge of my own people .... this was the place where I had made many memories with all of you.
Feeling melancholy today.

I agreed with everything you said, from 2000-2008, PH was alive, full of laughter, and sharing pictures was a way to know one another.
The reason why PH is so dead now a day is because it has been replaced by Facebook and other social media. Even if people come in here, they just browse and not really participate as much.
Like this saying go.."all good things has an end...nothing last forever."
I'm glad I has the chance to experienced in those days of Hmongonline and Pebhmong. It was fun!

I agree that with other social media avenues, message forums are beginning to become obsolete especially with random discussions like this site. Message forums are gear more for sites like Apple and "helping" forums for browsers looking to identify or correct a problem or issue. Some people often find it boring on message forums like this because if you're new to this site, and are not part of the historical cliché then nothing will interest you. As on facebook/instagram/snapchat/twitter, you capture a more diverse and broad level of audience where one doesn't necessarily need to be in a cliché to post something meaningful to them and it is more visual rather than having to type up something or read too much into something like this.

I was not part of the early PH but some of the reason IMO could and would be, unfair mods, some people are snakes, all the fun and dramatic people got banned, people are to sensitive and take it too personal, etc thus result in the dying PH today. I participate in other forums with all kinds of ethnic and people base on my interest and I rarely see people being so sensitive and taking things so personal like on PH.

I am glad that PH filters out those negative people. I don't understand why people get so butt hurt when their threads are deleted or move. :dontknow:

Im probably the most banned.
And its basically stemming from car racing stories.
And then it went to people xouldnt believe i was running 10 miles a day...
And now.. its my stories of experienxes with girls...they are all weird. .

My thoughts & views were more important so I've been sharing that but how I look, not important. I could be drop dead gorgeous, plain, ugly, who cares. I don't, do you ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
But over the years, a rare rare rare few knows what I look like. AND they will probably say I'm just an ordinary looking hmong woman ;)
