Title: What's your favorite way of cooking stripe bass?

Smoke it over a BBQ fire grill by wrapping it in foil and add garnishes like lemon slice, spices ect. 

Then you sit around as a family unit and you pick from it and do your own spring roll style while dipping in Viet sweet fish sauce. 

Fresh fish the meat should be sweet to the taste.

Yep, I've done that way too as well as steam it and making soup out of it and it's all good too but my favorite is still deep fried...

Deep frying depending on the oil. 

Like they give free deep fry fish if you buy from their fish market at them China man grocery stores and if you fry at the end of the day, your fish will smell like 100 other fishes that gets to dip prior. 

Simple deep fried with rice n boiled greens and dip in sauce.  I am loving it.
