Title: Do people turn out to protest more than they should have gone out to vote?

And should they have gone out to vote for their candidate rather than wait to protest against their candidate's opponent?

Our voting don't count. Only the house of representative s and the senates' votes may go through the ballot.

Ok. People are misunderstandi ng the process.

If you vote and your candidate wins in your state, then the reps of the electoral college in your state get to pick your candidate. If your electoral college reps don't get your votes, they can't choose your candidate for you.
