Some guy ran the numbers and made a visual representation to help us all understand the situation. I did some fact-checking and looks like CDC said 1.5% over the weekend.

Flu is 0.6% and it's MORALITY RATE not KILL RATE. Kill rate is for insects and non-human. For humans, we use mortality rate. Be a human ok. Also, Google is your friend.

It's some what deadly for now because we'd zero exposure to it. Like influenza first showed up, millions of people world wide die from it. If this Corona virus gets out of control, it could very likely cause millions of deaths also.

The difference is this and I will use this analogy.
When you go on a rollercoaster ride, it looks scary but yet, knowing that you got your safety harness on you, you are ok with going through with. Like jumping out of a plane, as long as you have your parachute that works, you are ok with it.
It doesn't matter what disease is out there. As long as you have a cure for it, we no fear.
wuhan virus, we don't have a vaccine or cure so until we do, we are fear of the X factor or the unknown.
No, this wuhan virus is not deadly to me because I am healthy enough but still, that doesn't mean I will challenge it and say come here and enter my azz hole, I'm ready for you. :'(

Roche, Giliead, and several other small companies were working VERY hard to create the diagnostic test and vaccine for this. Right now we do not have a rapid test. What we have is a PCR test and those are slow and expensive. There is not a vaccine too, but NIH director said they've taken the turnaround from 2 years down to ~2 months for reviewing vaccine. So the US has made GREAT progress in our systems and policies. It's never fast enough in a crisis you know.

IT is not deadly to children. For some odd reason, most children are not being affected by the wuhan virus.
No soldiers of the chinese are infected. The chinese expert are saying that by the end of this month, it shall be over. Do we even trust what the chinese be saying? Their government is commie and are filtering social media and the news media to foster their propaganda.
