oh that's cool.

I have a family member in texas, originally from katrina area that does this chicken farming.  They get to keep the eggs for free though.  They only raises them chicks to plump in 3 or so months and profit from the weight that they are able to pump them up. 

On other news, they say that is how them germs from animals were able to mutate and through the science of evolution, area allowing noval to jump from animals to humans.  I mean if you live with an animal, in due time, their nasties are going to learn how to jump to your human nasties. 

In theory that is....

My relatives left California in the early 2000s to try the chicken farm business and they are still there so it must be going OK thus far..Either that or they've invested so much into it that they have to stay there. I remembered the down payment for that farm was in the 6 figures back when they bought it. They've been there close to 20 years now..
