Title: For PH members like DaCurse and others that want to do it but have some concerns

If you still want to visit, it's no big deal especially from California...I know you have some concerns about the solo drive and such but both Oregon and Washington states are good states to visit especially for minorities/Asians. Here are some photos I took when I was there..

First off Oregon because it's closer to California...C an't pump your gas there so let the White man do it for you and let him clean your car's windshield..  ;D:

Oregon allows triple trailers:

Crater Lake is a must IMO..and if possible, stay in a cabin there  O0:

Astoria is another must..the beaches are not crowded like the ones in California so it's cleaner but also colder  8):

Now Washington..My wife and I visited several places like Boeing and Microsoft but the highlights were in Seattle...

Rains regularly there so bring an umbrella  ;D:

And if you happen to have a woman with you, having a nice romantic dinner on top of the Space Needle is a good thing  O0:

Oh when in Portland and you want to do something more Asian, go visit the Japanese garden and Chinatown and learn to write kanji  O0:

If you want to do more of a White folks thing, attend their well known Rose Festival Parade:

Good luck if you do that trip..

The photos don't do Crater Lake justice..Which BTW, is the deepest lake in America.

Words and photos can't really describe the beauty of Crater Lake like in person and it's truly something to behold IMO..

There's a reason why it's call "The Mirror of Heaven"... O0

Why do you need to state what type of people they are...why the segregation... .

Why do you need to state what type of people they are...why the segregation... .

Fair question...

From my observations over the years and to let others know what my opinions and first hand experiences are:

"minorities/Asians": Many Asians are a little apprehensive to explore new states due to fear of prejudice and racism. OR and WA are some of the more minorities/Asians friendly states that I've encountered.

"White man": That was more of a joke (hint: the  ;D emoji) because minorities usually serve the White man and now the tables have turned.. ;D

Something more "Asian": The Japanese Garden and Chinatown is more focus on Asian cultures.

More of a "White folks thing": The Rose Festival in Portland was an event that was created by White folks a hundred years ago where pretty much the participants and attendees were and still are White.
