Title: Honda VS Toyota....which is the better car???

looking to upgrade...

i see the newer honda civic and accord are running CVT
heard CVT are unproven and kinda of sucky

i also heard the newer toyota with 8-speed automatic is kinda of sucky also

I’ll stick with Toyota. I had many Toyotas and Hondas but now a day it’s Toyota. If you take care of the engine it will outlived you.

The newer honda are running CVT
looking at a few newer civic and they all have CVT engine
This car mechanic on reddit, say HARD PASS if you can avoid it

They're Japanese cars so I say either one I'll drive no matter how terrible engine they can run on the freeway.

Both of these makes are very reliable.
