Title: What are you thankful for?
Post by: Kong Vang on November 18, 2020, 03:39:52 PM
I am thankful for the COVID vaccine, help is on the way. I am thankful I still have a job. I am thankful I have a family that cares about me. I am thankful I have good friends to cheer me. Most of all, I am thankful for the air in my lungs and because I got to watch the sun rise and set today.

I'm thankful for Biden's victory.

This is going to change the world into a better place for at least the next four years.

Me and my family's health first and foremost, and also agree with the "COVID vaccine" since the FDA approval stage didn't take "YEEEARRRRSSSS. .at least 5-10 years out".  O0

No covid for me and I'm thankful for it.  It made me bi polar as the evolution of my mind during 2020 is all jacked up.  I feared it, anti social to getting tired of it and went robo on it by not social distancing and to being back to fearful once again.  I have tested 6 times already and all negatives.

Last one was this past monday with results coming in fast like 2 days later.

Even if I'm a known negative, it still doesn't change my stance on my alert towards it.  I'm still on high alert myself.  I just fear what it feels like if we all must get it then how would it feel you know?

Will I be heavy or will I be light?  We need that vaccine.  Anything helpful around this time.

Not in a very good mood to be thankful. I would be thankful if government officials and agencies get reformed.

Biden is reforming Trump. So, is Harris reforming Pence.

Now you can be thankful, nightrider.

I find that being grateful and giving thanks to those things I have brings me great peace. To some, this may seem counterintuiti ve... because all through our lives, we are told to get better grades, find a better job, get a newer car, buy a bigger house and perhaps acquire more money. Don't get me wrong, all those things are worthy goals and if that's your passion then more power to you. If making a lot of money is your thing, by all means, go for it.

My point is this, have balance in your life, don't lose yourself or your values in pursuing those goals. Don't let your ambitions cloud the miraculous things unfolding in front of you.

Thankful for all the positive and negative aspects of my life; negative to teach and positive to enjoy. I’m especially thankful for the stock markets this year that my retirement will come earlier than expected. Happy Thanksgiving!
