Title: Perhaps Duma may know but I learned something new from a Ho (Bac vs. Nghe an)

Checked out "Ho Sweet Home" on HBO and one of the Ho girls said that "Bac people are from North Vietnam and are more proper and conservative" and said that her husband's family is from the central region and are part of the "Nghe an" (spelling??) group and are "more frugal"..??  ???

This show is scripted for the worse. 

Vietnamese family don't look or behave anything like that.  I expect old people to speak viet in their household. 

Good thing is with all that money in the world, they still kept their last name, one that got butchered to death by now.
