Depends on how observant the neighbor was.

When I was a kid, I kept seeing my neighbor run every morning. I didn't think much about it then. But now that I look back, I can tell that he has grown into a very active professional somewhere. Not as a runner but as someone with something great in life.

People who are active stay active in other aspects of life, too.
