You can fund your spouse roth ira too $6000
Don’t matter if they work or not

get yourself a target date index
make sure it has INDEX... and look at the expense fee..
keep it under 0.1%
pick a date that you want to retired
OR
you can also just go straight s&p 500 and hold it for life too

there's a penalty if you withdrawn earlier before like 59 years old
like 10% tax..
kinda like if you withdrawn your 401k.. earlier.. uncle sam is going tax you
these are retirement account... don't trade
