Great production is a proof of great leadership. But one's solo excellence alone does not create the impressive number needed.
You can work hard alone and become as great as you can and you will produce extensively.
But that's never equal to a combined force of production.
So, Maxwell says the next leadership of leadership that he terms Level 4 is to develop the people who are with you so that they can bump up your production level multifolds.
McDonalds and Burger King don't just extend their chains through franchises. That's already adding to their productions. But they have
created universities that teach their very ingredients and procedures to build the franchise managers along their chains. Each franchise owner
does not just take over a branch and run it; he or she must learn and is taught the ways of the burger makers.
