Y'all need to chill... does not matter how much you have, it's how happy you are that matters.
I'm good, folks have told me to put that money in a "CD" or invest with it or "put your money to work for you" but I'm comfortable and content with a $300k liquid asset. O0
Now if for some reasons, the situation changes down the road, I'll consider it but I'm good and of course "happy" with it now.. O0
Kind of like eating food at a buffet...once I'm full and happy, I stop, I don't over do it because it's just excess after that point.
Probably explains why I've turned down a couple of promotions at work already. Sure more pay but also more folks to manage and more hours away from my family so I don't think I'll be happy with that. Where as now, I know I'm happy at my current position so I'm staying put managing just a small team of a handful of staff, working 30-35 hours a week. O0
Time is priceless IMO.
Having the time to do the things I love and spend time with those I love can't be replace with more pay at this point of my life.
