The reigning Queen died yesterday. Now, her heir is taking over: Prince Charles III will now be King.
Lady Diana would have been Queen if she had lived and not divorced.

The New York Times is very credible but this writer needs to remember kindergarten lessons on which hand is right and which is left.

I never understood why he divorced Lady Diana and went after Camilla.... From the outside, Diana is better in everyway. Still, it's amazing Charles and Camilla's love endure... I'd wonder what is it about Camilla that a Prince is willing to leave his wife for?
and now she is his Queen Consort. Maybe Camilla is one misunderstood woman Or maybe their love story is just so amazing... Don't know.

He was always in love with Camilla but the tabloids demonized her because they were so enchanted with Lady Di. Charles was forced into the marriage just as much as Diana.

Agree... I think she was only used as a poster princess because of her looks, nothing more. They never loved each other... Charles was in love with Camilla.
