Divers catch a record 24,699 invasive lionfish in tournament off Florida’s Gulf Coast

That became clear when the world's largest lionfish event — the annual Emerald Coast Open Lionfish Tournament — announced May 23 that divers caught a record 24,699 lionfish off Florida's Gulf Coast. That's nearly 11,000 more lionfish than were caught in the 2022 tournament, officials said.

More like "their" and  not "his" alone. It's a combined total caught, not that he alone caught 24,699.

I think there were 24,699 divers, bro! lol :2funny: :2funny:
