...especially on the Atlantic Ocean side:
The people lost in the missing Titan submersible are dead-bolted in with at least 17 bolts and have no way out unless they're found
The people inside the missing Titan submersible are currently sealed inside an airtight vessel. The hatch is sealed shut with 17 bolts and "there's no other way out," per CBS News' David Pogue. The US Coast Guard is now racing against time to find the submersible before the oxygen runs out.
When I did mine submarine tour, it was on the Pacific Ocean side so it's little calmer. Here are the photos I took:

Titanic Sub Missing: Billionaire Passenger’s Stepson Defends Attending Blink-182 Show During Search
The stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding believes Blink-182 will get him through "life's toughest times."
Brian Szasz spoke out on social media to defend his decision to attend a Blink-182 concert amid a high-stakes rescue mission to find his stepfather, as well as four other passengers, onboard the missing Titanic submersible.
"Yes I went to @blink-182 last night," Szasz, an audio engineer based in San Diego, wrote on his Instagram Stories June 20 alongside a photo of him at the venue. "What am I supposed to do sit at home and watch the news? Not sorry this band has helped me through hard times since 1998."
The 37-year-old shared news of his outing on Facebook June 19, according to screenshots obtained by multiple outlets, where he wrote, "It might be distasteful being here but my family would want me to be at the blink-182 show as it's my favorite band and music helps me in difficult times!"
Leonardo DiCaprio's Best Roles
He later deleted the post, noting that his mom Linda "asked me to delete all related posts. Thanks for the support."
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Szasz expressed his gratitude to Blink-182 band members Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus.
"My stepdad Hamish is on this submarine lost at sea," Szasz tweeted. "I'm devastated but coming to the San Diego show tonight so you guys can give me hope and cheer me up."

OceanGate Was Warned of Potential for ‘Catastrophic’ Problems With Titanic Mission
Leaders in the submersible craft industry were so worried about what they called the “experimental” approach of OceanGate, the company whose craft has gone missing, that they wrote a letter in 2018 warning of possible “catastrophic” problems with the submersible's development and its planned mission to tour the Titanic ...

NewsNation is under fire over airing an 'oxygen remaining' countdown clock for the missing Titanic submersible
US news network NewsNation has come under fire over an "oxygen remaining" countdown clock appearing on screen amid its coverage of the missing Titanic submersible. The submersible was carrying a total of five people to see the Titanic shipwreck at around 13,000 feet under the surface when it lost contact with its mothership on Sunday afternoon. The US Coast Guard estimated Monday that if the Titan was not breached, the oxygen in the submersible was likely to last 70 to 96 hours. It's estimated that the oxygen would run out at around 7 a.m. ET on Thursday. During its live rolling coverage Wednesday and into Thursday, NewsNation included a countdown clock for the submersible's remaining oxygen, prompting backlash online.

All 5 are dead including an Asian billionaire father and his son:
Titanic submersible: 5 passengers on missing sub likely dead following 'catastrophic implosion'
All five passengers aboard a submersible that vanished while on a dive to explore the Titanic wreck site have died, officials said Thursday after underwater robots discovered seafloor debris from the sub that was “consistent with a catastrophic implosion.”

Must be a tough pill to swallow, wondering what that mom is going through now? ???:
The mother of the 19-year-old who died on the imploded Titanic submersible says she was supposed to go on the dive, but gave her son her spot because he 'really wanted to go'
The mother of the teenager who died on the Titanic submersible says she was supposed to go instead. But Christine Dawood said she "stepped back" to let her 19-year-old son embark on the dive. She said he'd looked forward to the dive for a "very long time," contrasting earlier remarks from his aunt.

Yep, underwater pressure is no joke especially at that depth:
Imploded Titanic submarine seen for first time as pieces recovered from sea floor
Debris from the Titan was brought ashore by deep-sea robots on Wednesday as the US Coast Guard continues recovery operations following the sub’s catastrophic implosion.
The Titan’s wreckage was seen for the first time in pictures after the Coast Guard announced on 23 June that ROVs (remotely-operated vehicles) found its chambers in a sea of debris 1,600ft from the bow of the Titanic, roughly 12,000ft below the ocean surface.

Subway faces backlash over ‘distasteful’ sign referring to the Titan implosion
A sign on a franchise of America's most popular sandwich chain is raising eyebrows. On July 1, Brooklet, Georgia resident Timothy Mauck posted a photo that has since gone viral. In the image, the sign outside a Subway sandwich shop in nearby Rincon, Georgia reads, “Our subs don't implode.”
