because he's pissed that the GOP have introduced a new immigration bill, HR2 (Secured the Border Act of 2023). We saw what's happening at the border (well, if you're a Leftie/Demmie you don't see anything) with thousands of illegals crossing daily.
So, he got this big idea to draft a bill that would remove the Statue of Liberty if GOP passed the HR2. He's trying to make fools of GOP but instead making a fool of himself. All countries of the world want to control their borders...
I'm all for immigration... as long as it's done properly and legally through the right channel.
