Title: So my name came into conversation with some relatives again

One of my cousins recently modified his name by adding a word to it to change it to an elder name..

Got no issue with that as if he's good, it's all good IMO.

Then some of my relatives told me that I should also get an elder name since I'm actually a couple of years older then the cousin that just got his...

I told them, I prefer not to because there's no benefit in it as it's just tradition for some.

So they asked me if I will reconsider in the future?

I said, HELL NO!!!  ;D

in the hmong culture

they will chose a name for you

because you have a kaydoo interracial marriage
you probably won’t get one
