ignore FACTS that Kamala Harris's father, Donald Harris, wrote in his bio that he was descended from an actual slaveowner (Hamilton Brown).
Brown was a prominent sugarcane plantation owner and owned more than 1,000 slaves in Jamaica. He was Irish-born and known to be very violent with slaves. He is Donald Harris's maternal grandfather. The town where Kamala's family lived in Jamaica was named after this man, Brown's Town. It used to be called Hamilton Town.
