Get those helicopters out to fetch water... I mean, with the numbers of fires yearly in CA they should be prepare for wild fires.

Uh... have you ever heard of forest management or fire prevention management? When your state is known to be a tinder box waiting for a wild fire to start at any time, wouldn't you think a fire prevention method would be a good thing.

Uh... ocean water is just water and salt... that's good enough to fight fire of these kind. Now, if you're concerned about chemical or other kind of fire... that's a different story. However, fire fighters, 100% of the time, responding to these kind of fires use water... not other forms.

CA does allow helicopter to use people's pool as a water source... however, if damages were resulted from this action, the homeowner can bring that up to get reimbursement for the repair.
I can see that some MSM is already blaming this on 'Climate Change' and not poor mismanagement by CA or DEI hires.

Uh... ocean water is just water and salt... that's good enough to fight fire of these kind. Now, if you're concerned about chemical or other kind of fire... that's a different story. However, fire fighters, 100% of the time, responding to these kind of fires use water... not other forms.
Here's why firefighters can't use ocean water to put out fire
Firstly, the water tanks and other equipment that firefighters use is made from metals that will corrode when salt water touches it. That means of all their expensive equipment would be totally destroyed if they used it to put out the wildfires.
Not to mention the additional property damages due to the ocean water...
