stop by my local kwik trip to pump some gas
it was $2.80/ gallon for regular gas

You are paying $2.80/g, probably the lowest you have paid for the last 4 years. What are you complaining about? Maybe you want gas to be the same as during Brandon's time.

2023 - $3.51

When you find a politician or President that has not say something they can't do... then I'll call him out.
But I believed Trump was not talking about price at the pump... RBOB Gasoline future were trading around $1.98/g just prior to Trump posting about it. The future contract actually traded @ $1.96 after Trump's post. When asked by CNBC whether the president was referencing RBOB, Trump administration officials pointed to the contract's recent price action. Which indicated, they were referring to the RBOB future and not the actual cost at the pump which varies from station to station, city to city or state to state. I don't think you'll ever see gas below $4/g in CA.
There are some station charging $2.20/g and you just said you paid only $2.80/g for regular in your neck of the wood. I'm seeing $2.90/g on average in my neck of the wood.
