Juneteen is a fake holiday made up by White Lefties/Demmies to appease the Blacks so they can keep them in the plantation longer.
Remember what LBJ says... “These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don't move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there'll be no way of stopping them, we'll lose the filibuster and there'll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It'll be Reconstruction all over again... Those N-word gotta vote, I'll have them voting Democrat for the next 200 years".
And it has played out just like what LBJ said... give them a little bit at a time and keep them from getting uppity but voting Dems. However, a lot of Blacks are waking up and leaving the Dem party.

We celebrate it today because we are not working tomorrow and it's a FACT that some companies, organizations, etc., don't celebrate Juneteenth on the 19th.
